Exeter has two main-line stations that link out to most major UK cities with a journey to or from London taking about 2 hours and 20 minutes. Both stations
are conveniently sited for the city centre with Exeter Central Station being the closest with a less than 5-minute walk to the High Street. Exeter St Davids is
located down the hill with an approximate 15-minutes walk or a 5 minutes bus ride from the city centre.

Once in Exeter's centre - buses run at regular intervals. It is possible to get to almost any area you should wish to go via this system of transport. Another method is the city's taxi and private hire vehicle service. The taxis are available from various taxi ranks around the city centre or by telephone arrangement to the place you require. Taxis are also available at Exeter Airport, Exeter Bus station and Exeter St. Davids railway station.
