Sidwell Street starts with one of Exeter's biggest names in shopping!
Sidwell Street joins the top end of High Street at the crossroads between Waterstones the bookshop and the old Debenhams building now occupied by one of the city's most popular retailers, John Lewis. It has limited street parking available for the motorist, but there's plenty of parking spaces within the nearby King William Street and Bampfylde Street car parks. Sidwell Street is also located close to the Exeter Bus Station as well as the main Park and Ride stop in Paris Street.
The pavements are wide and provide plenty of space for the daily market stalls. And on various occasions throughout the year it has previously hosted visiting markets such as the Continental Market with its speciality food and gifts from across Europe.
Shops include:
John Lewis, Richer Sounds, Halfords, Iceland, and Poundland.
