Interesting, Charming and Fun!
It's a charismatic street with trendy independent retailers promoting fashion, food, gifts, jewellery and fun! With plenty going on, this delightful little street is popular by day and by night.
Gandy street, which got its present name from Henry Gandy, a former mayor of Exeter in 1661, runs off the High Street at a right angle towards the Royal Albert museum. Although it dates back from the Saxon period, this street has conserved its medieval form and today provides Exeter with an additional and fashionable attraction to the Castle Quarter.
