Exeter Living History Weekend
Exeter’s Living History Weekend has previously taken place during the month of August. The event celebrated Exeter’s historical ancestry with a trip through 2000 years of Exeter’s past starting with the Roman settlement and going through the times of the Vikings and early medieval societies.
The exhibitions and demonstrations featured live pageantry, battle re-enactments and tournaments, craft skills and storytelling. The various time periods divided into encampment zones all set within the beautiful gardens of Northernhay.
